Health Insurance

Various Health Insurance companies provide cover for Complementary Therapies as part of a broader Health Plan to include, for example: dentists and opticians. It is worth checking with your employer to see if any work insurance cover you have includes reimbursement of Complementary Healthcare costs.

HSA covers Acupuncture and Homeopathy

For £6.75 per adult per week you can claim 75% money back on these treatments up to your annual limit of £200. For £6.70 a week, a family of four can claim up to £400 towards Complementary Therapies. If you anticipate needing dental or optical or hospital care then the Complementary Therapies can end up being a bonus included as part of your general health insurance package.

The Health Cash Plan covers you for:
Dental health costs such as check ups and treatment
Optical costs such as sight tests, glasses, prescription sunglasses and contact lenses
Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Homeopathy treatments

Like a Mortgage Broker most Health Insurance Brokers are paid by the insurance companies, not by you. Other cashplans not mentioned here may cover a broader range of Complementary Therapies.
