Remedial Massage

Remedial deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. This type of massage aims to resolve issues resulting from repetitive strain, poor posture, chronic pain, whiplash, falls, twisted ankles etc. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff neck, low back stiffness, and sore, aching shoulders.

The strokes used tend to be deeper than therapeutic massage, and are concentrated on areas of tension and pain which may cause some discomfort to start, yet aim to alleviate any tension or discomfort that the client may have had for a while, helping to restore you to an active and pain-free life.

Remedial massage can also be helpful in conditions such as fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis, muscle spasm and chronic back problems.
